Bushfire ticket sales up by 50%
Ticket sales for the upcoming 2015 edition of MTN Bushfire in Swaziland have increased by 50% and organisers expect tickets to sell out before the festival on 29-31 May. Golden Lounge VIP weekend and Saturday day tickets have seen the largest increase in sales so far.
The countdown to Swaziland’s highly acclaimed world music and arts festival, MTN Bushfire, has officially begun with the event only six weeks away. Over 20000 festival goers are expected to descend onto the scenic farmlands of the Malkerns Valley to enjoy the eclectic three-day music and arts programme.
The spike in sales followed the festival’s announcement of the extremely anticipated 2015 musical line-up, which includes Grammy-nominated acts Les Nubians (France/Chad) and Sweet Honey in the Rock (USA), as well as regional favourites The Soil and Freshlyground.
Jiggs Thorne, MTN Bushfire Festival Director, said: “We are thrilled that this year’s line-up has been so warmly received by the people of Swaziland. It’s great to see people are booking early to avoid missing out what is set to be another spectacular weekend. We only hope to extend the invitation for you to ‘Bring Your Fire’ and get your tickets now and join us at the ninth annual MTN Bushfire festival!”
2015 festival tickets can be purchased in Swaziland from the All Out Africa Internet Café in Malkerns and MTN stores in Riverstone, Corporate Place, Shak’s Gables, Rob’s Matsapha and E-Top Up in Bhunu Mall. For more information and to purchase tickets visit the MTN Bushfire website.
