Alliance Francaise d'Asmara

Alliance Francaise d'Asmara is a major player in the cultural life in Asmara and promotes French culture, supports the Eritrean artists and organizes many activities including exhibitions, concerts , films , lectures, publication & translation , etc.

The centre is divided between two buildings The Centre Joseph Kessel (School , Media , Internet, Café de Paris) and The Embassy of France that houses the administration and library. Besides teach the French language Alliance Francaise d'Asmara also offers artistic courses in painting, etching and salsa.
