BFB

Bio

BFB (real name Jeremy Matewere) is a popular figure in Malawi's entertainment circles. He is a musician, songwriter, vocalist, rapper and keyboardist from Blantyre. His stage name BFB stands for Blaq Falcon Bird. BFB hails from a family whose background has no strings attached to music. This paused as a challenge when he was growing up and he had to work hard to make a name for himself. His interest in music took off in 2006. Back then, he would find himself writing senseless scripts and doing some drawing. This prompted him to fall in love with the hip-hop culture which shaped him to become who he is today.

In 2015, he and fellow rapper Malinga Mafia featured on Ambokire Salimu's song called 'Matender'. He produced the song. In July of that year, he released a new video for the single 'Mungovutika' featuring rapper E-Drizzy. He also released audios for 'Abwana ndi Shasha' which featured Fredokiss and 'Grind Hard'. The songs featured on his 2015 album 'Vicious Man' which was released that same year in September.

Apart from singing, he is a poet whose vocals and productions are bent on experimenting different genres to create a signature sound relevant to his community.
