Bulawayo Schools Music Project

Bulawayo Schools Music Project is an arts project that was initiated by the Zimbabwe Academy of Music (ZAM) in 2012. The success of the project was made possible through support from British Friends of the Zimbabwe Academy of Music and the British Council. When it started, the project comprised 500 young people across the city.

The objective of the project is to establish an annual community music course to pupils from schools in the western suburbs and inner city. The project also thrives to revive the teaching and performance of music genres, in schools and at ZAM.
