Chuchu FM Radio is designed to develop to the listeners an appreciation of the uniqueness, wealth and diversity of educational and entertainment programs based on social, economic, political and cultural topics from Tanzania and other parts of the world.

Ina Chuchu Media Ltd are the owners of Chuchu FM Radio, which broadcasts on the frequency 90.9 FM. It covers Zanzibar and the coastal region of Tanzania Mainland, including Tanga, Dar-es-Salaam, Bagamoyo, Kilwa, Mafia and goes as far as Morogoro. The radio was founded in Zanzibar in mid 2007.

Its main activity has been introducing and establishing the new commercial radio station. It’s enjoying admiration and acclaim with listeners locally, regionally and nationally.

Ina Chuchu Media Ltd owns an 80 meters microwave steel tower and a transmission building at Dole about 8 kilometers from town. This was done to ease the existing problem faced by most radio stations of having to rent space on towers owned by telephone companies and the government. After the tower construction they installed 8 bay omni directional antennae which have vastly improved their coverage.

Now Chuchu FM can be heard clearly in all of Zanzibar, all the coastal areas of Tanzania i.e. Dar-es-salaam, Tanga, Mafia, Kilwa, Bagamoyo and Morogoro. Many listeners from the mainland are now listening to their radio and a number of the listeners call in to contribute to various topics on air.
They have also started renting out space on the tower. Their first client is opening a new cable TV which will take off in about a month's time.

The main aim is increasing the number of their listeners and clients as well as embarking in various activities of social and political nature so as to attract more listeners.

Ina Chuchu Media also owns a promotional agency called Taff Promotion which organizes Road shows, concerts and other promotional and entertainment activities.
