DJ Lady Cream

Bio

DJ Lady Cream (real name Nontobeko Dlamini) is a Swazi born female DJ whose first vinyl was at House On Fire Swaziland. She shot to fame with a song called ‘Drama Queen’ featuring Durbannyts. She began her deejaying career in 2006. Since then she has played at some of the hottest spots in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Zambia and Botswana. She has also played alongside the biggest names in the industry such as Andy X, Black Coffee, Fresh, Cleo, Euphonik, Vinny Da Vinci, Tira, Cndo, Zinhle, Culoe De Song, Oskido and others.

She also won the Swaziland Young Women’s Networking (SYWON), Young Woman in Male Dominated Space. Style Award as well as Hard Working and Personality of the Year.

She was also featured on Channel O Basement For Women’s Edition in August.

In 2014, she flew to the U.K. for a show dubbed the ‘DJ Cndo UK invasion Part 2’. That same year in June, she released a Shona house track titled ‘Zim-dance’. The song features DJ Style also from South Africa and a Zimbabwean vocalist she only referred to as Tinashe who was in the studio for the first time to record a track. The song was released following the support she received during her many performances in Zimbabwe.

In September 2015, her name was added to the line-up of DJs and artists who performed during DJ Njebza’s birthday party.
