Ghana Music Week

Ghana Music Week is an event in Ghana that is held by the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA). The purpose of the event is to showcase the country’s music and projects. The event is a major contributor to the country’s GDP.

The week starts with the play of solely Ghanaian music on major radio stations across the capital. There’s the organization of music seminars for stakeholder, management and players within the music industry.

Part of the festival is the Ghana Music Honours, an awards scheme geared at honoring the accomplished musicians who have contributed tremendously to the betterment of the Ghanaian music industry.

The festival is climaxed with an All-Star Music Concert that brings together over 50 artists to perform on one stage.
