Hellen Dikobe

Hellen Dikobe is a female artist from Botswana best known for her soothing and soulful voice. She started singing when she was 17 years and recorded her first album when she was 23 years old.

She started off as a lead vocalist of a five member band youthful group called The Clement Jackson Crew in 1998. She took a break from recording for about two years to study music at Central Johannesburg College in South Africa.

She has done local performances at celebratory festive events, cooperate functions and private parties. From 1999 to 2002 the group gained fame in surrounding areas and became resident entertainers at the Gaborone President Hotel and at the Gaborone Sun International Hotel. In 2003 they launched their first album ‘Me, Myself & Real Friend’. Hellen was the lead singer for all tracks. In 2005 she began composing and releasing her music. ‘Ngwao’ is amongst the songs she has released labeling her as one of the faces to reckon within the country’s music scene.
