Not to be confused with Kasi FM 107.3, Kasie FM 97.1 is a community radio station that caters for all the residents of Ekurhuleni and the surrounding areas in the east of Joburg. It was founded in 1997 and started broadcasting full-time in 2008. Kasie FM now operates 24 hours a day.
