Malawi Broadcasting Corporation TV

Malawi Broadcasting Corporation TV (MBCTV) is a state owned television station. It is the country's first television broadcaster. It falls under Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). It was established in 1997.

The station plays hosts to a variety of music programmes like ‘Hwoza Friday’. The programme offers club music for young people. Another programme is the ‘Dancehall Full Hundred’. It is dedicated to dancehall music and offers both local and international dancehall music and news. Other programmes include ‘African Stars’ , ‘Touching Base’, ‘Melody Hour’, ‘Cross Rhythms’ and ‘Music Splash’.
