Marvin Hanke

Bio

Marvin Hanke is a radio development consultant from Malawi. His consultancy has a strong bias towards production of radio drama and radio soaps. He has worked as a producer for 24 years at the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). During his time at MBC, his drama productions won international awards such as The URTNA Award and The Nelson Mandela Award for radio drama in Africa.

In 1999, he co-founded Story Workshop with Pamela Brooke where he worked as an executive director for nine years and voluntarily retired in 2008. He is currently a director at his own private media production house called Audio Clinic Productions. The organisation is responsible for producing development radio programs, radio jingles, adverts and music.
