Major international artists such as Simply Red and Andrea Corr have released new albums through Next Music, which also represents South African acts such as Isochronous. Next Music is also the exclusive distributor of leading special interest labels including The History Channel, Discovery Channel, Bio Channel, C&I Channel, ESPN (US) and Baby TV (Fox).
A partnership agreement is in place between Next Music and The Orchard, the leading distributor and marketer of independent music in the world to digital music retailers and mobile operators. The Orchard has a catalogue of more than 1 750 000 tracks and has established global retail partnerships with leading consumer brands. Next represents The Orchard’s interests with African mobile phone companies and digital music service providers.
Next is also the largest exporter of South African music currently representing the following catalogues on an exclusive basis: Select Music, Rhythm Records, Fantasia, Sting, Maranatha Music, Merchant Records and Brettian Productions.
