Nigeria Music Hall of Fame & Museum

Founded in 2009, Nigerian Music Hall of Fame is a platform dedicated to celebrating, honouring and preserving the legacy of Nigerians in the arts industry. These include musicians, educators and industry professionals who have made significant contributions to the national and Nigerian music scene. The criteria are based on talent, performance, writing, technical and business aspects of the industry. This helps to perpetuate the music and music business of Nigeria and the legacy of excellence by presenting and aiding selected new talent.

The Hall carries out its mission through an election of inductees and creating a museum of artist and music-related exhibits. It also honours inductees and commemorates the country's music legacy. The Hall is committed to developing programs and services that aim to promote and strengthen the country’s current and future music scene. This is to ensure that music continues to play an important role in the lives of all Nigerians.
