Raquel (real name, Raquel Naa Ayorkor Ammah) started her music career with her elder sister. The duo was called "The Sister Act". Raquel then signed on the BlackStar SR Entertainment in 2005 but it was until 2010 before she released two hit songs named "Odo" and "Sweetio" ft Sarkodie.
The singles scored about 50,000 views on YouTube and 250,000 plus downloads, thus making her one of the top female artist in Ghana. Later on, she released "Set Me Free" which has genres like, 'Azonto, Afro pop and "Kpanlogo" which is traditional "Ga" rhythm. She counts Brandy, Whitney Houston, Destiny Child, Aaliyah, Mario, Lemar, Pat Thomas as influences.
