Takudzwa Svotwa

Takudzwa Svotwa is a multi-talented Zimbabwean gospel music composer, arranger, producer and artist. He began his career in 2010 when he and his friend Justin recorded and co-produced a debut album called 'Ndimi Ishe'. The album features songs like 'Africa', 'Komberedza', 'Kugarisana', 'Khazimula', 'Ndiri Mukundi' and many more.

He was brought up in a musical family, both parents studied music, his mother plays the piano while his father is a gifted artist who plays the acoustic guitar very well. Takudzwa composed his debut song when he was 12 years of age. He eventually formed a music group called Oracles of Praise.

Shortly afterwards, he co-formed an acapella group with Chris Gera (jazz artist), Justin Makweche, a gospel artist and producer and Chris Pasi. The group disbanded when he moved to Johannesburg, South Africa. While in South Africa, he met his old friend Justin and they rekindled their group.

This saw them releasing a video for the 'Ndimi Ishe' album which did fairly well in South Africa and Zimbabwe. In January 2016, they produced another project titled 'The Encounter With God'. The album features hit tracks like 'Mana Njalo', 'Ndinoda Kufamba Nemi' and 'Anokuda Jesu'. As of February 2016, the album had not been released.
