Trinity Broadcasting Namibia

Bio

Trinity Broadcasting Namibia (TNB) was established by Coenie and Edna (the late) Botha in September 2001 in Swakopmund, Namibia. On 15 May 2002, the Botha family began making productions using one camera. The crew had no formal training in the art of mass communication.

In October 2002, they opened another station in Walvis Bay. In 2003, the broadcaster added more stations in Windhoek, Rehoboth and Okahandja. On 1 February 2015, the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation collaborated with religious channels TBN and One Africa Television to present its first phase of switching off analogue viewing and moving towards digital terrestrial viewing in central Namibia.

TNB is reportedly the only community and only christian broadcasting television network in Namibia with assets worth more than N$5 million. TNB also broadcasts its programs in different languages such as Afrikaans and Oshivambo.
