Trymore Bande

Bio

Trymore Bande is a gospel artist from Harare, Zimbabwe. He was born on 26 February in Honde Valley and grew up in Samaringa Village. He did his primary and secondary education at Samaringa Primary and Secondary Schools respectively. Trymore started singing in 2005 after finishing his secondary school education in 2004. His music was inspired by Pastor Charles Charamba music.

He recorded his first album ‘Old and New Testamane’ in 2005 but released it in 2008. He recorded it with Elias Musakwa’s Ngaavongwe studios. It was produced by Jonathan Mgazi.

The debut album was followed by an eight track album titled ‘Discover to Discover’ (2009) and ‘The Scriptures’ (2010) respectively. The two music projects failed to make an impact in the music industry. The ‘Zvakagara Zvakadaro’ album followed. It was produced by Lyton Ngolomi. The album faced criticism in the media after with critics citing that it is a clone from some of Charles Charamba’s popular albums.The album reportedly caused a rift and conflict between Bande and Charamba but the ‘Uchandiramba Peter’ singer maintained that Charamba remains his father and mentor.

He has done live shows with his band Gospel Vocals. He has shared the stage with artists such as Blessing Shumba, Jah Prayzah and Hosiah Chipanga.
