Wrinkars Experience
Bio
Wrinkars Experience led by singer, composer, guitarist Dannie Ian Mbaezue, was formed in 1970 in the wave of the Afro-Funk revolution sweeping through West Africa. The band recorded its iconic mega-hit 'Fuel for love' on the EMI label in 1970, propelling it top super-stardom in Nigeria and beyond. A multi-ethnic band, it was composed of Nigerian, Cameroonian and Ghanaian elements.
The band recorded several other hit singles including 'Soundway', 'Money to burn', 'Ballad of a sad young woman' and many more. The group separated in 1977, but have happily reunited and shall be fulfilling a touring commitments in the near future.
