Bio

Born 21 September 1994, Marie Grace Abayizera, popularly Young Grace, is a female rapper from Kigali, Rwanda. Hailing from Gisenyi, she tasted the lime light in 2010 from Top Sai 5 Studios. She attended Centre des Jeunes Gisenyi, Lycée de Gisenyi and Ami des Infants schools. She joined the music industry in 2010 prior to releasing her debut song called ‘Hip-Hop Game’. The song became platinum and earned him a mark in the music industry. This was followed by tracks such as ‘Adresse’, ‘Bible’, ‘Sinareka Muzik and ‘Mpa Umusada’ featuring Jay Polly. She also boasts of songs like ‘Farsel’, ‘Umwiza’ and many more.

She hogged the lime light in 2010, when she won the Best Teen Artist at the Salax Awards. In 2011, she competed for the best female artist with other female artists such as Knowles, Miss Jojo and Oda Passy. She also attended season 2 of the Primus Guma Guma Super Star (PGGSS) together with Knowles, Paccy and Jozy. In 2015, she dropped an Afro-beat song called ‘Bingo’.
