Organised by Bank Windhoek Limited, Bank Windhoek Corporate Relay is an annual event where artists are given the platform to establish themselves in the country’s arts industry. The event delivers the ultimate opportunity for corporate entertainment and team building.

The event will be held at the Doc Jubber hockey fields from 2pm to 6pm and Ees and Jakkie will feature as main musical acts.

Ees, real name Eric Sell, is renowned for his immense contribution in the country’s music industry. In eight years, he has released nine CDs and fans will get the opportunity to see him perform songs from some of his CDs.

On the other hand, Jakkie's fans will get the chance to see him performing his Afrikaans music. The comic singer is known for hits such as ‘Drie Pikkewyne’, ‘Bamboesbos’ and ‘Gemaak in SA’.

To be part of this event, interested people should join a team of four members who will compete in different categories. Participants will compete in a 20km walk or run and each team member will walk or run for 5km on a route around the sports fields in Olympia.

Interested people are encouraged to bring their gazebos, tables and chairs. Food stalls and cash bars are available and all funds raised will be channeled to welfare organisations in the country.

To be part of this hilarious event one has to fill a form which can be obtained from Bank Windhoek branches or can be downloaded here. The closing date for entries is Friday 22 July.
