Kenyan music producer Kevin Provoke has teamed up with other professionals in the African music sector to launch an initiative called Dance Africa which is meant to promote the continent’s diverse music and showcase it to the world.
The initiative has so far attracted musicians and music professionals from across the continent. They include Kenya’s Fena Gitu, Fadhilee, Just A Band, Stan and Jeff Myrac, as well as Nigeria’s Olamide, South Africa’s HHP, Uganda’s Cliff, Angola’s Staff Paulo and Maya Zuda, among others.
Other than Kevin Provoke’s Provoke Music, the other production houses involved include BigSoul Entertainment, Ogopa DJs and Ruaka Music Label. They’ve also received support from Angola’s DJ Romano and London’s MOD17.
