Having managed some of South Africa’s most prolific brands and labels, Nic Burger is considered one of South Africa’s leading dance A&Rs and Label Managers. His career has spanned the better part of two decades, with some of the largest global and domestic signings in the South African dance music scene earning him a spot on the board of the Recording Industry of South Africa (RISA) and the advisory board of the Association For Electronic Music (AFEM).

Nic not only set up South Africa’s biggest and longest-running dance brand, ‘Bump’, he also set up digital distribution platforms for indie labels and artists, as well as a short stint in the mobile communications industry. Nic’s most recent success is launching UDanceSA, the dance division of Universal Music South Africa, which not only markets and promotes Universal’s international dance content but also signs and manages local talent. Nic currently holds the position of Content and Platform manager for The Kleek, Africa’s biggest music radio streaming service, a subsidiary of Universal.
