Seghito released her second EP titled Swahili Vintage the 2nd 2023 where she sings about love, hope and inspiration for self love.
Been in the media and arts industry for 12 years, she noticed from early on the gender inequality, sexual exploitation and power mis allignment that women face in the industry due to lack of access, misogynistic views and lack of education, financial opportunities and social support for female artists.
Since 2014 she has worked to correct this imbalance by working create edutainment content for girls, partner up with organisations such as BBC, Alliance Francais, IRC, Ubongo Kids, Tai Tanzania and the French embassy for use in different media outlets to inspire and nurture girls, youth and the society at large.
