Lindiwe Maxolo

Lindiwe Maxolo is a jazz vocalist from Pietermaritzburg.

Maxolo graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Degree in Jazz Honours Degree. As of 2021 he was studying Masters Degree at Witwatersrand.

He began performing with Andile Yenana in 2009 and shared the stage with the legendary Dave Grusin and Lee Ritenour in 2012 at Montecasino. Maxolo has worked and collaborated with some of the top South African musicians such as Gloria Bosman and Sibongile Khumalo in 2014 at the Birchwood Jazz Events. In 2018, his An Evening with Lindiwe Maxolo & Friends project was powered by the Department of Arts & Culture.

He has also collaborated with Concord Nkabinde, McCoy Mrubata in a Project called “Three Steps Within” in 2014.
