Namibian Economist

Established in 1991, Namibia Economist is a privately owned weekly newspaper which publishes economic news. Some of the topics covered by the paper include agriculture, mining, fishing, construction, utilities, manufacturing, property, information technology, communications, transport, retail / wholesale, business services, financial services and tourism.

It is entirely published in English and appears every Friday. Namibian Economist has an estimated print run of 7000 copies that are distributed from Oranjemund to Rundu. In 1998, the Namibia Economist was one of the first newspapers in Namibia to come with a website.
