George Q Marathon the Artist

George Q Marathon the Artist (born George Isaac) is a multi-talented musician from Zambia.

He plays classic, pop, jazz and any genre of music. There are a few known and upcoming artists he has worked with, including Deliwel, a Lusaka band. He played a role in Mumba Yachi's 'Think About Me' video. In 2020, he participated in the common wealth music project called 'The Early Morning' that was dedicated to the late Queen Elizabeth's jubilee.

In addition, he participated in a classical music competition called virtuous, which is open to all classical musicians, and earned a degree certificate on a trombone and was a performer upon completion which was awarded by Prominades Ensemble, as well as gifts and vouchers. In addition, he has performed with a variety of bands or music ensembles on Zambian national broadcasting service (ZNBC) during festival seasons.

He has also appeared in a zambezi drama soap opera called Makofi in the first season. A number of music groups have collaborated with Marathon since then, performing at events such as parties, weddings, corporate events and movie premieres, such as Bana Chanda, a zambian feature film. Basically, George Q Marathon or marathon is a person who is interested in all things art related, whether it be music or film.
