Members ;
Wamwiduka Band
a Tanzanian uplifting and vibrant traditional music band that mixes with urban music. Currently in 2024, Wamwiduka Band won the HAPA Awards (Hollywood Africa Prestigious Awards) as the best traditional band in 2023/24, and the same year also won the category of best traditional musicians in the Tanzania Music Awards 2023/24. All of these achievements were made possible under the guidance of our youth talent centre, Home of the World. The band was formed in 2012 and it's origins is from Mbeya region, found in the southern highlands of Tanzania.
They usually use music instruments made with homemade tools, which include the self-made string guitar, drums, marimba (a deep-toned traditional xylophone), percussion, and a base guitar that creates a traditional banjo sound. For more details; https://www.musicinafrica.net/directory/wamwiduka-band

Projects Undertaken ;
Asilitronic Music
This is among the projects we were working on. This is a music genre that involves the performance of traditional musicians playing and singing live their traditional music and collaborating with a DJ who plays synthetic sample packs of other traditional musical instruments that are arranged in a way that is counter-intuitive to the instruments the musicians play and end up creating an amazing music taste.Here is the link; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zl8jGTC-sng
Kulikoni!
