Tembakazi Mona, professionally known as Thembi Mona, is a dynamic South African vocalist celebrated for her powerful voice and captivating performances. Born on January 10, 1986, in Phumlani, a small village in the Eastern Cape, Thembi moved to Gqeberha in 2009 to pursue her passion for music. Since then, she has worked with numerous prominent artists and producers, cementing her name in the music industry. Known for her soulful blend of Afro-soul and house music, Thembi has collaborated with notable artists and groups such as Deepsound Crew, Dusty Melody, Zain SA, MagneticBoys, Sdudla Noma1000, DJ SK, Mr Luu & MSK, and Djembe52.

Her 2020 EP, Oluhambo Lwam Lude, produced by DJ SK, DJ Calvin, Deepsound Crew, and Pastor the DJ, showcases her versatile artistry. In 2021, she released two notable tracks, "Ndixoleleni Bazali Bam" and "Sobonana Phambili," in collaboration with Cairo CPT, further solidifying her place in the South African music landscape.
