Zim Hip Hop Awards 2024: All the winners

This year’s ceremony saw rising stars and established acts shine, with Voltz JT emerging as the night’s biggest winner in the Best Album, Song of the Year and the coveted People’s Choice award categories.

In other major categories, Holy Ten claimed Best Male Artist, while Young Gemini took home Best Female Artist, showcasing the balance of talent between established and upcoming voices in the genre. The Lifetime Achievement Award went to producer Takefizzo, recognising his lasting impact on the Zimbabwean hip hop industry and dedication to the culture.

Runna Rulez won Best Newcomer, signalling fresh talent poised to influence the scene. Meanwhile, Rhymeassassin earned recognition for his work abroad with the Best Diaspora award. A standout collaboration came from 216Whisky, whose ‘Gore (All Star Remix)’ won Best Collaboration, while Phanas was celebrated as Best Producer for his exceptional work behind the boards.
