Rwanda Education Board

Rwanda Education Board exists to improve the quality of Education through curriculum development, setting quality standards, development and management of teachers, assessment, study loans and bursaries, and promote the use of information and communication technology in education.

It is tasked with fast-tracking education development in Rwanda by enabling education sector growth in line with Rwanda Vision 2020 and the Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy 2012 – 2017.

This will be done by designing and delivering high quality free 12 years of basic education for all children of school going age. The scope of their work includes all aspects related to the development of the education sector. This involves working with and addressing the needs of schools.
