Baobab College
Bio
Baobab College (formerly Baobab Trust School) is an independent day and boarding school, situated outside Lusaka, Zambia. It enrolls a total of 500 students from ages 2-18 to follow the National Curriculum for England and Wales. At the end of year 11 students sit IGCSE exams through CIE.
Students enjoy all the traditional subjects oneu would expect to find on the timetable along with a few modern additions such as IT, design and technology and P.E. all of which are offered to examination level along with drama and music.
Sixth Form students follow AS/A level programmes. In 2005, Baobab College was awarded Fellowship Centre Status by CIE - the only school in Zambia to achieve this award. There are students from 26 countries and staff of 14 nationalities.
