Bio
Lize Ehlers is a Namibian singer, songwriter, actress, playwright, director, facilitator & poet.
Lize is a message music maker with a heart for her community and planet.
Born and raised in Mariental, Namibia, Lize is a national creative pioneer and won the very first "Artist of the Year" title at the 2019 Namibian Annual Music Awards. She also the current "Female Artist of the Year" & winner of "Best House" song at the 2019 Namas.
Lize is also the acclaimed musical director for productions such as I am John directed by Sandy Rudd, Every Woman directed by Senga Brockerhoff & For Colored Girls directed by Jenny Kandenge.
Through her role as Founder & Director of RMB Song Night, a free national platform developing upcoming singers, Lize has successfully mentored thousands of emerging Namibian singers to get to the next level of their singing journeys. Lize is now on a journey to go international and represent her country and tell the stories of her people.
