Obrey M

Obrey Epraim Mashigo was born on 17 February 1978 in Zithobeni, Bronkhorstspruit, South Africa. He later moved to Daveyton and now resides in Boksburg. His love for music and singing started at a tender age of eight when he sang for various choirs in and around Ekurhuleni.

In 2002 he joined Oasis of Life Family Church under the leadership of Apostle Sithole and Prophet Sibongile Sithole and that is when he fully understood his purpose and calling. His relationship and knowledge of God grew. Obrey M started developing a sincere relationship with God when he was serving in the church and this saw him appointed to become a musical director of the OASIS of Life Family Church Choir.

During his experience in the ministry he got privilege to share the music stage with international artists like Bishop Marvin Winans, Smokie Norful, All 4 One, Donnie Mc Cluckin and Vashawn Mitchel. He has also shared a stage with many local artists including Pastor Benjamin Dube, Sipho Makhabane, Hugh Masekela, Tshepo Tshola; Pastor Solly Mahlangu, Tshepiso Motaung; Israel Mosehla; Vicky Vilakazi, the late Sifiso Ncwane and many more.

As of December 2016, he has been busy recording his album anticipated to be coming out by the end of January 2017. Currently he has a single called 'Isimemezelo'.
