Paradise Spharaphara

Bio

Tshepo Nkosi, better known by his stage name Paradise Spharaphara, is a South African rapper, singer, and dancer born on August 6, 1992, in Daveyton, Johannesburg. His love for music began at age six, inspired by Mzambiya and Mswawa.

Nkosi's musical journey started with recording acapella tracks on an old tape, including "Iphinhloko Yam," a song about a horse with no heard. He later joined a group called Game Over in 2004, where he honed his skills in battles and hip-hop.

After separating from the group in 2009 to focus on his studies, Nkosi put music on hold. However, in 2016, he began downloading beats from the internet and recording tracks using his phone. A friend, Senzo, discovered his talent and arranged a studio session, leading to his first professional recording.

Nkosi collaborated with various artists, including Clayton X, Fesa, Chappy, and Kg Roots, on tracks like "Salute," "Good Time," "Made Up," and "Bambelela." Although these tracks were not mastered or mixed, they paved the way for his future work.

In 2017, Nkosi met Chappy, and they decided to collaborate. Their single, "Elevate," was released on Audio Mack and SoundCloud, marking their first professional work together.

As a skilled dancer, Nkosi joined Vetkuk Vs Mahoota on their Kasi to Kasi tour. He gained popularity on Instagram with 29,000 views and was featured on "I'm Leaving Satafrika (pt:13)." Nkosi was also invited to join Vetkuk vs Mahoota ft. Kwesta on their "Ziwa Morthu" music video."
