R. J. Pitie took to piano at Witwatersrand University after predicaments of scarcity in guitar tutors and transformed into saxophone after his music teacher convinced him that he'd love the horn if he were to give it a try. He later got to searching for his love (guitar); however, still loved & preferred by many on the saxophone after having dumped it for his self-taught love (guitar) and would tell you - if you were to bump into him - that he loves this string apparatus.
