Saint Evo

Saint Evo is a DJ/Producer from the plains of the Equator. An artist that loves to emulate his art in the form of sultry, effervescent, and at times erratic sounds. His skills have proven integral to the vision of Celsius Degree, with his new found perspective of house music from an equatorial direction, a genre he proudly labels as equatorial house.

Other than music production, Evo is known for his fluent performance in DJ’ing, as he has in the recent past entertained the online masses with his deep and vibral selection of House music through his monthly podcast show (Sentient Sound Sessions) as well as events and shows he has featured on. He derives his passion from the urge to revolutionize the global scene with his new found approach to the art of production by harnessing the very essence of every talent he meets that resonates with his sound.

His highlights and accolades speak of potential and promise in his musical philosophy of engineering, with hits such as “Olenkodikod” by Diddi, “Supasta” by Boneless & “Be Afraid” by Mokko, of which have taken the Kenyan Music Scene by storm. He has worked alongside great talent such as, Jack Rooster, Marcus Ezra, Tista (S.A), Boneless, Electrique DJs, Fellix (Basement Jaxx), Jonathan Meyer (Italy), Dela just to mention a few.

His mission as a muse entails introducing what he calls, “a new age of music for a region that has struggled to penetrate its music into the global music scene”. His goal is to change the status quo with his evolutionary style of music in hopes of taking the Kenyan and East African market to global recognition
