DJ Global

DJ Global aka Global Schemes, while based in Uganda, is truly a global citizen.
Ugandan by nationality, but raised in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Swaziland and the USA, DJ Global's interests in different musical styles developed at an early age. It all started back in the first year of high school, when he was introduced to 2 Technic 1210’s (turntables). His love and passion for music is clear to anyone who has heard him produce or spin tracks in the hottest nightspots across the globe.

Global has played at quite a number of high profile events around the world. While in New York City, he was a staple at Club NV on Wednesdays. He also featured at other top night clubs such as Club Cheetah and Sounds of Brazil (S.O.B’s). Having graduated from New York University, he also played at a variety of the university’s events. On the African continent, he has played at events in Swaziland, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

In Uganda, the DJ Global brand has grown from strength to strength, with a reputation for being “The” DJ to hire for your event. The types of events include private functions, corporate events, album launches, weddings and theme nights. In addition to being the number one DJ in Uganda, Global Schemes is a member of the trio called Market Makers; a formidable team and production house that uses its resources as a one‐stop‐shop for all musical professional needs: from music & video production, songwriting, image, and marketing. Along with his business partners Gasuza and Onoh they have produced music for some regional and international artists including Kelly Rowland (USA), Samini (Ghana), Slikour (South Africa), P‐Unit (Kenya) and Ugandan artists Jose Chameleone, Bebe Kool, Navio, Lilian to name a few.
