Alem Kebede
Bio
Alem Kebede is an Ethiopian artist who was part of the flowering of popular music in that country in the years just before the Derg dictatorship which began in 1980. Her music forms part of the multi-volume collection Ethiopiques series put out by Buda Musique. She has released at least one album and continues to perform.
