Bajah

Bio

Pupa Bajah is the frontman of Bajah + The Dry Eye Crew. Bajah grew up in the Brookfields section of Freetown, the Sierra Leonean capital. He started singing at an early age and dreamt of becoming a musician or a soccer star.

When the war closed in on Freetown, Bajah went to neighboring Guinee to avoicd the violence. This was where he honed his musical skill and athletic talent, playingg in soccer leagues across the country and representing the Sierra Leonean national team in Guinea.

Bajah DJed at local clubs and there met the rage group, the Jungle leaders, which was made up of Sierra Leonean refugees. From there he started to perform and grew in fame across West Africa. A popular motorcycle in the region called the 'Bajah' is named after him.
