Ben P (Benjamin Taonga Phiri) was born and raised in Zambia, in the Copperbelt Province town of Ndola. He became a born again christian in 2005 thus marking the beginning of a new life. This saw him joining a praise team called Spring Of Life in Kitwe. Shortly afterwards he did his first recording as an artist in 2009. His genre varies from hip-hop to R n' B, urban rock and dance. His music incorporates the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost and broken. His music depicts how a normal life is impossible without Jesus Christ.
