Blairgowrie Music Centre

Established in 1972 at the Blairgowrie Primary School, today it is one of the best known music centres in Gauteng. The philosophy at the Music Centre is to give all pupils a sound musical education, thereby developing a positive love of music. Teachers also believe that music should be fun and that pupils must enjoy what they are doing. Many past pupils play in orchestras around the country and abroad. The BMC is an orchestral centre, staffed by professional musicians. Lessons are given to individuals as well as groups.
