Bluestar Management

Bluestar was established in 2001 as a corporate and events company, but have since expanded to voice, commercial, television, film and theatre.

Steven Macfarlane studied Dance and Drama at the Durban Technicon from 1990 to 1992. In 1994 he moved to Cape Town to perform Artscape and soon became administrator at Theatre on the Bay for Pieter Toerien Productions. He worked as production manager for Ratanga Junction, then entertainment manager for GrandWest Casino, before joining Artistes Personal Management as an actors’ agent and performers’ manager. Steven opened Bluestar in 2001, supplying buskers and bands to various venues around Cape Town.
