Chibwela Kumushi Tribal Ceremony

Chibwela Kumushi Tribal Ceremony is a Soli traditional ceremony held under Chief Bunda Bunda’s clan in the Luangwa District of Zambia. The event marks the beginning of the new planting season in October and November. There is a lot of singing, dancing and playing drums and many other traditional instruments. They also have a ceremony to thank the ancestral spirits for the good harvest.
