Dane Francis

Dane Francis is a guitarist from South Africa. He is also the owner and director of Dane Francis Productions, specialising in music, audio and video productions for artists.

His most recent production being “Closer” for David Langley. Born in the small town of Kwadukuza in 1984, Francis has over the years become a well-established and recognised local and international artist. He is a passionate, talented and skilled musician whose love and passion for music allows him to play and teach all instruments.

Dane Francis is currently completing his Music degree at the University of KwaZulu Natal specialising in Music compositions. His expertise and skill are best demonstrated while performing on stage and entertaining the crowds. He has performed for King Zwelitini and the
President at the opening of the King Shaka Airport. Although Dane is skilled in most instruments, he has worked hard to become an excellent guitarist. He has shared the stage with many local artists including Judith Sephuma and Swazi Dlamini. Dane Francis also played for Mbokodo award winner Singer Zoe Modiga and Brenda Mtambo at the 2018 Mbokodo awards.

His impact in the music and entertainment industry reaches beyond the boundaries of South Africa. Dane has played in some of the best hotels in the Middle East over the past few years including, Intercontinental Regency Bahrain, Hilton Abu Dabhi, Intercontinental Dohar Qatar, Danat Hotel and Resort Al Ain and the Millenium Airport Hotel Dubai. Dane Francis has also won numerous accolades and awards for his musical performances including The Best Jazz Band at Suncoast Casino and Entertainment World; and a recording contract at the KZN Music House for The Best Music artist in 2011 hosted by Natalie Rungan and Ernie Smith.
