Danny Vumbi

Bio

Danny Vumbi (real name Semivumbi Daniel) is dance-hall artist from Kigali, Rwanda. He was born to parents Jean Baptiste Serushago and Eline Kangeyo. He started music back in 2002 when he joined a music band in Kie. In 2004, he founded a group called The Brothers alongside Gatsinzi Victor Fidele. Since then, his career as a musician began taking shape. In 2014, he released a hit called ‘Ni Dange’. The song was well-received and earned him a household name in the country’s music industry.

Besides music, he is a qualified teacher and journalist at Authentic Radio
