Dayanah

Diane Hingi is an aspiring music producer and singer born and raised in Tanzania. She was born to Tanzanian parents . She is from the Bena tribe who originate from Njombe.

She is a Christian of Lutheran denomination. She is fluent in English and swahili, she also speaks Spanish and a bit of German.

Diane completed her primary education in the year 2014, Ordinary level in 2018 and advanced level in 2021. But in all her years of studying she has always had a great interest in music as she grew in a music oriented family. She is currently a music student at Tumaini University Makumira.

Diane started singing in the children choir at church since she was 6 years of age. She also started helping her father as he worked in his studio. By assisting her father she gained some knowledge of studio production.

She is has performed in various choir competitions held by the Lutheran church, she recently performed in the end of semester concert help by the music department at Makumira.

Diane aspires to become a music producer, songwriter and singer in the future. She also wants to open a music school that will teach young children the basics of music as well as to learn how to play various instruments. Also she hopes to own her own studio.
