Bio

Debra Chansa, best known by his stage name Debbie, is a female Zambian artist. She grew up in a house of talented individuals most notably her brother CQ, a famous Zambian musician. Debbie started out as a model and fashion stylist and designer. She gained fame in that profession. In 2006, she participated in the Zambian Music Talent show and believed in her potential. This saw her dedicated most of her time to develop her career in music.

In 2010, following her prolonged stay in the studio, she launched her maiden album in October. A few weeks later she released her first video off her album. On 6 December of that year, worn two namely awards at the Born N Bred Music Video Awards namely Best Female Artist and Best Upcoming Artist.

Some of her popular songs are 'Thank You For Christmas', 'Merry Christmas', 'Should I', 'Running Back' and 'Silent Night'.

Her achievements in both music and fashion saw her clinching a contract to become the face of Black Opel Zambia. In 2014 a South Korean record label decided to sign her as an artist. This saw her relocating to South Korea for six months learning, growing and adapting as an artist. Her return, saw her spending mush time in the studio and making more music.
