Don Pablaw

Fedelix Ncube (born January 10, 1996) professionally known as Don Pablaw (fomerly known as Pablo Fedados), is a Zimbabwean born recording artist, disc jockey, performer, songwriter and record producer. On the 5th of November 2019, Don Pablaw released his first major dance single titled Parkstation Sunset. On the 11th of November in the same year, Don Pablaw released another dance single titled Sengikhathele featuring the beautiful vocals of Ofentse Miss Colors which touches on the issue of women and child abuse.

Pablaw was born in Bulawayo, Matebeleland. From age’s six to twelve, he lived with his grandmother in Kensington located in the southern part of Bulawayo. This was a small populated neighborhood which had an impact on a young Pablaw, “I come from a place where we solely survived on waking up very early in the morning to cultivate and plant crops, if you’ve never valued the power of rain you’ve never experienced starvation”. Pablaw moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, to live with his mother. Pablaw attended Providence Academy High School this is where his interested for making music began. He taught himself how to use a digital audio workstation and created beats which he will play for his friends and they will freestyle to during break time. He became really good at it that he started making different types of genres ranging from hiphop, electronic dance music , neo soul , R&B and Dancehall music. During these years Pablaw and his mother rarely stayed more than half a year in one place and ended up settling in Rivonia , in the Northen Suburbs of Johannesburg where his mother worked . Pablaw graduated from Providence Academy at seventeen. He was accepted to one of the best universities in South Africa ( the University of Witswatersrand ) to study Civil Engineering. Sadly he dropped out in the first semester of his second year because of financial issues.

After dropping out, Pablaw moved to stay with his aunt in Bertrams which is located at the east of Johannesburg CBD. This was a crime manifested neighborhood. During his stay at Betrams he was more inspired into the creative world. Beginning of 2017 Pablaw pursued to study a Diploma in Sound Technology in attempt to certify his skills and start over his music career. During his time at college he was part of a quartet of music producers and Djs named MusiQ BoyZ. Don Pablaw is credited as the producer in most of MusiQ BoyZ songs.
