Gunzo is an artist from South Africa

Gunzo’ is a South African MC born in Mdantsane.His rap career started at the age of 12 Gunzo in 1997 where he joined hip-hop crew ‘Dream Squad’ two years later, the group cut their first mix tape but later He embark on a solo career and recoded a single titled ‘Long Rough Gravel’ which made him popular in the Eastern Cape. Gunzo has contributed music to the award winning documentary ‘Girl Fight’ about boxer Noni Tenge which has flighted on eTV.
Gunzo was signed to ECAVC Records from 2014 to 2019 and has an album titled Untapped. In 2015 he has been nominated for Kumkani Hip Hop Awards on the categories of Best Hip Hop Music Video and Best Hip Hop Lyricist.
Gunzo had recently made his mark in Hip Hop Scene as a game changer from the Eastern Cape. He left people dazzling for more of him in Big Platforms such as Mdantsane summer reunion, KZN Music Imbizo and Moshito, Mdantsane summer reunion ,macufe,bcmm lights and carnival, Eastern cape arts and cultural awards to mention the few.
