Bio
Ilse Myburgh is a professional pianist and accompanist, as well as enthusiastic music educator with experience in the practical and developmental roles of instrumental and ensemble teacher.
Although experienced in teaching and performing at a high level of musicianship, Ms Myburgh has a keen interest in teaching the foundation years of the young musician. Ms Myburgh is an experienced music teacher and Director of the Beka Bantwana foundation, with a demonstrated history of working in the music industry. Ms Myburgh is highly skilled in Performing Arts, Music Performance, Music Education and Entertainment. Strong professional with a MMus (Chamber music) focused in Performing Arts and currently doing further research in early music tuition. Highly qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria and UNISA.
